ADRENAL GLANDS

There are two adrenal glands 
 
-Lie anterosuperior to the upper part of each kidney 

- 4 cm long and 3 cm thick
Arterial blood supply:
A- directly from the aorta.
B- Renal and inferior
phrenic arteries
Venous return is by:
A- Right gland drains into
the inferior vena cava .
B- Left into the left renal vein
Lymph drainage:
To para-aortic nodes.
